I finally decided to start gold making towards the end of the Cataclysm expansion. For the two years prior to this I had been like most players, not really actively making gold, but just having enough to get by.
I did do some research before I plumped for my original two professions, skinning and herbalism. My thinking was that I could use these gathering professions and sell what I got on the AH. This worked and was pretty much my only source of gold outside of quest and instance rewards. If I was short of gold, I would just go out and gather some more. It worked, but boy, what an inefficient way to earn some coin. Head past the jump for more.

Great Deals for Big Bucks By Erogroth
There are many ways to make gold in World of Warcraft. One of the easiest is to flip items. Flipping is the process of buying items at a cheap price off the AH and then selling them (or flipping them) for a higher price. There are many items you can flip but one of my favorites is that of rare crafting patterns and recipes. Learn more after the break!

Making Gold Without Every Profession and Limited Startup Gold by Erogroth

Recently I decided to enter the gold making game of World of Warcraft. I had no idea what I was going to do, how to do it or even where to start. Worse I only have one max level character and my next highest alt was sitting at 80 thx to a Scroll of Resurrection a friend gave me after I took some time off from the game during Cataclysm. I had some gold just from doing Dailies and quests and everyday things in WoW, which was about 20k. So where to begin? Head past the jump to find out.

So this is it. I’m Kryahio, an avid World of Warcraft player for about 5 years now, who’s very recently got into the gold making field, and a first time blogger. I wasn’t in it for much; I just wanted to experiment with different add-ons, different professions, and a total different way of playing WoW... and seeing IF it could even make 50k for a vial. It's interesting how many on the auction house will continuously lower their prices and sell-themselves-cheap, pretty much giving away their wares to make minimal profits. For some this might seem ok, but those experienced know that it's all about profits and making as much of a profit-margin (return on investment - ROI, blah blah blah) as possible. Read on past the jump for more.
